My name is Stephen Coleman. I am currently serving as a pastor in Harrisburg, PA. I have been serving here for approximately 5 years. Since I have assumed this position, the Lord has captured my heart in a greater way than before my tenure here began. That is due to several things. The Lord has greatly deepened my love for the Scriptures through messages I have listened to on my own, good spiritual reading, and other study that I have done. My love for music and piano playing has also increased, and the Lord has richly provided a beautiful piano for us recently. Another pivotal point to mention is the meaningful relationships the Lord has allowed me to develop in the past several years. It has encouraged, strengthened, and nurtured me in my spiritual walk with the Lord. And perhaps one of the greatest enrichments in my life has been the opportunity to preach several times a week. It has enhanced my love for the Lord and His Word, and has inflamed and increased my passion for the Lord. As the Lord has given me the very message for every hour I was to preach, I have grown to see the goodness and faithfulness of the God who has called me with a “high calling.”
I now am writing to try to take the things the Lord has so wondrously and graciously entrusted to me, and begin to share them in some way with other believers. I have a heart for fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and desire that they may taste also that the Lord is gracious; that they might taste and see that the Lord is good.
It would truly be impossible to enumerate all of the goodness of God or adequately give Him the praise that He deserves, but one day we will offer praise to God continually throughout eternity, without the need for interruption or intermission.
May God in Heaven see fit to use these brief posts to encourage, strengthen, stir, revive, and nourish the precious people of God.
To God be the glory,
Stephen M. Coleman
