Acts 13:49
And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
A little over a year ago, on January 2, 2025, I begin figuratively putting my pen to the paper. (It is all digital, so there was no pen or paper!) I began writing a year-long devotional out of the depths of my heart. For some time before, I desired to write a blog, and the Lord, in His time and with the help of others, caused that to become a reality. Over the past year, it has been my joy to write almost every day about great themes in Scripture that I would come upon each morning. I have enormously enjoyed it and have received great benefit myself spiritually through the writing. But even a greater blessing is that fact that many others have also derived peace, encouragement, and help through the few words I have written. Maybe you have been helped by it. I am truly grateful and undeserving to be used in any way by our Lord. I want to thank each of you who have continued to read my posts and allowed the Lord to use them in your life.
Now that I have written 366 devotionals, I have essentially completed the manuscript to my work entitled “Greater Things.” I would like you to know that I have no intention whatsoever of ceasing from my writing. Instead, I intend to keep producing devotionals and to continue writing my thoughts often. It may not be every single day, but I will continue to post as the Lord leads. With that being said, you may have certain themes you would like me to write on, and you can request certain subjects by using the contact information below. I would love to write on the specific themes that would be a blessing to you! Therefore, my writing may be a little looser and freer because I am not specifically writing to finish the work “Greater Things.”
With this in mind, I now want to unveil my next steps and plans for my manuscript. As some of you may know, I would like to get this work, “Greater Things,” published into book form that would be available for people to have, read, and actually place on their shelf. I’m sure many would find it beneficial to have a physical copy in their hand that they can pick up, read, or refer to at will. I do have a few publishers that I am in contact with about the publication of my book, so I request that you pray that God will give me discernment and wisdom concerning which one to use. Two, at this time, are open to me.
Lastly, I want to share that it will cost some money to get the book published. God has been so wonderfully and faithfully generous to me, and I do have some funds to help make this happen. However, I do not have the complete funds needed. So, if the Lord would so lead you, you may give toward this project through any of the ways listed below. I greatly appreciate even a very small gift that could be used of God to help this book reach the hands of those who could be helped through its pages. All I want to do is help, encourage, strengthen, and guide the people of God to the “greater things!”
May God bless each of you, and feel free to use any of the contact info listed below.
